It has never been too easy for Thais and other nationalities on a tourist visa for the United States. The procedure is known to be a grueling set with all the requirements and standards stricter immigration authorities requesting that the visa interview. This situation is due to the intrinsic assumption of the Government of the United States that most foreigners visiting the country intend to stay forever. For this reason, it is difficult to obtain a U.S. tourist Visa than other types of visas.
In this sense, candidates for a U.S. tourist visa in Thailand should go beyond the requirements and pass the interview. It's important to note, however, that the evaluation is subjective and the decision to approve or reject applications is entirely up to the discretion of the evaluating officer.
When applying for a tourist visa, always remember that your main objective is to prove that you are financially able to support yourself during your stay in the U.S. and that you will return to Thailand after your visit. This means that you need to provide evidence of your financial situation and the lack of reasons to permanently set in the United States. First, you need to show a stable and well-paid job in Thailand. In second place, you should prove that you have active real estate in the country. Thirdly, if applicable, you should inform the evaluating officer that you have family or children that you are leaving behind.
Some of the documents required for the application process are listed below:
- Employment letter indicating the starting date of employment, wages, other benefits, type of position (temporarily or permanently), duration of the leave, or other relevant information
- Proof of ownership of a business (for self-employed candidates)

- Certificate of registration at a college or university (for students)
- Personal and business bank books and bank statements (original)
- House subscription
